Interpretation
Interpretation projects are an important part of Mikes work as an illustrator and creator. Anything from providing the images to offering design and production for projects. He has been involved painting in murals around the UK from RSPB Loch Garten Cairngorm, RSPB Leighton Moss Lancashire, RSPB Rye House Marsh Hertfordshire, Living Coasts Torquay, Marwell Wildlife Hampshire, Stover Country Park Devon, to Westhay and Shapwick Heath Somerset.
Some of the projects are shown here.

Murals
Working on large scale murals can be challenging but with Mike’s experience he is able to give accurate quotes and schedules for this type of work to include everything from pencil drafts to completed mural.
Jigsaw Interpretation
Several large but portable hard wearing jigsaws have been produced for wildlife trusts and interpretation centres.
Wood Etching and Interpretive Projects with Greenspace Designs
For over 17 years Mike has worked as illustrator for Greenspace designs who design unique boardwalks, benches, sign boards and trails using local materials in a sustainable way. These pieces have great longevity some of which have been in place for more than 15 years and are still in good condition. A few of the tactile benches, boards and trail pieces are shown below.
