Cape Town has some fantastic birding opportunities and a stunning backdrop too of Table Mountain. Several of the birds are endemic to the SW corner of South Africa others just very nice to see. If you have been you’ll remember those African Penguins at Boulders Beach or Betty’s Bay and the numerous sunbird species in Kristenbosch Botanical Gardens. Perhaps you were lucky enough as I was to catch up with the Cape Rockjumper a stunning and bit of a tricky species to find sometimes!
